Bruce Lowe Memorial Scholarship,
North Carolina State University, College of Management
Established in 2005, the Bruce Lowe Memorial Scholarship, at North Carolina State University, College of Management, provides an annual award of $2,000.
To qualify to receive this financial aid, students must have graduated from a North Carolina public high school and reside in a county designated as rural in the annual listing of rural counties published by the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center. Based on merit, the scholarship is open to students majoring in any field of study within the College of Management. The award may be renewed provided the student maintains at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
The scholarship is offered to an incoming freshman who:
- demonstrates financial need
- majors in any field of study in the College of Management
- graduates from a public high school with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- resides in a county designated as rural as published in the NC Rural Economic Development Center
Additional requirement:
- a one page typed essay on the topic of: How do you plan to incorporate learning and scholarship in your life during and after college, especially beyond the classroom? Please cite relevant examples from your experience that support your ideas.
